Ádám Marosi (born July 26, 1984 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian pentathlete .

Life

He won his first medal at world championships in 2008 with bronze in the relay competition. The following year he became world champion in both the individual and the team. Bronze followed in 2010 , this time with the team.

In 2011 he won a complete set of medals with bronze in the individual, silver with the team and gold in the relay competition. Marosi became world champion again in 2013 with the team and in 2014 with the relay.

He first took part in the Olympic Games in London in 2012 . With 5836 points, he won the bronze medal behind David Svoboda and Cao Zhongrong . At the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro , he finished the competition in twelfth place.
