Branchling
Ästling is a term not yet fledged young birds that nest or nesting hole left though, however, continue to be supplied on branches sitting by the adult birds. In particular, the term is used with birds of prey and owls .
The term comes from the language of falconers , but has also established itself in ornithological usage.
