Łukasz Cyborowski (born June 21, 1980 in Legnica ) is a Polish chess master .

Life

Cyborowski won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 3rd place at the tournament in Legnica (1996), 3rd place at the 58th Polish championship in Warsaw (2001), 1st – 2nd place. Place at the Open in Chojnice (2005), 1st place at the tournament in Legnica (2005), 1st place at the Open in Chojnice (2006), 2nd place at the tournament in Myślibórz (2000) and 2nd – 3rd place. Place at the Open in Lubawka .

Since 2003 he has held the title of Grand Master .

Cyborowski took part in the 2004 Chess Olympiad as the second reserve player for the Polish team .

In the Polish team championship in 1995 Cyborowski played for KS Miedź Legnica , from 2002 to 2005 for SS Polfa Grodzisk Mazowiecki , with whom he also took part in the European Club Cup in 2003 , from 2006 to 2009 for AZS UMCS Lublin , and in 2010 and 2011 for LKS Pasjonat Dankowice as well 2012, 2016, 2018 and 2020 at LKS Wrzos Międzyborów . The best results were six second places, in the individual ranking he achieved the best result on his board four times (2002, 2004 and 2006 on the second board, 2009 on the fifth board). In the German Federal Chess League, Cyborowski played for SG Trier from 2007 to 2017 , and in the 2019/20 season he plays for SC Remagen-Sinzig in the 2nd Bundesliga West . Cyborowski has been playing for TJ Zikurda Turnov in the Czech Extra League since 2012 and for Manx Liberty in the British Four Nations Chess League since 2018 .
