The 2102 was a static RAM with a storage capacity of 1024 bits , organized as 1024 × 1 bits. The component was delivered in a 16-pin DIL housing . It was introduced by Intel in 1972 and subsequently produced by many manufacturers such as National Semiconductor and Siemens . The combine microelectronics Erfurt presented the 2102 under the name U 202 D forth. The access times were 250, 350 or 450 nanoseconds depending on the design .
