30 Minutes or Less (Original title: 30 Minutes or Less ) is an American comedy from 2011 with Jesse Eisenberg and Aziz Ansari in the leading roles. The film opened in German cinemas on November 24, 2011. The film was produced by Columbia Pictures and distributed by Sony in Germany.

Nick works as a pizza delivery man in a small town with a suicidal driving style. Nick has been mad at him ever since Nick told his best friend Chet that he slept with his sister Kate eight years ago. The two failures Dwayne and Travis also live in the same place. Since Dwayne's father, who won US $ 10 million in the lottery years ago, treats his son like a godfather, they both plan to kill him to get the multi-million dollar inheritance. The only problem is the contract killer Chango, who demands 100,000 US dollars.
Dwayne and Travis overpower Nick, put an explosive vest on him and give him ten hours to rob a bank and steal $ 100,000. If he doesn't make it, he'll be blown up. Desperate, Nick goes to Chet and asks for help. Nick quits his job and tells Kate that he loves her. Chet and Nick steal a getaway car and raid the bank.
When the money is handed over to the hit man, however, he cannot deliver the promised deactivation code for the bomb. Both snatch the money from him and flee. The killer is now furiously looking for Dwayne, who is not at home. Instead, he shoots Dwayne's father in the stomach.
After Dwayne and Travis take Kate hostage, a new handover date is set. There the bomb vest is opened and the money is exchanged for Kate. Unexpectedly, Chango also appears and shoots Dwayne and Travis, but in return is burned by Travis' flamethrower . In the mess, Nick grabs the money and escapes with Chet and Kate. When Chet picks up a wad of money in the car, a paint bomb from the bank explodes .

Since it opened in theaters on Aug. 12, 2011, the film has grossed over $ 40 million at box offices worldwide with an estimated production budget of $ 28 million. There are parallels to the real bank robbery, also known as the " pizza bomber case " , perpetrated by the pizza delivery boy Brian Wells in 2003.
