- 941 : Heinrich von Sachsen , Duke of Lorraine , plans to murder his brother King Otto I. He is betrayed and imprisoned in Ingelheim . His accomplices are beheaded. Through the intercession of his mother Mathilde , he is pardoned again, but loses Lorraine.
