action

The young Pia is about to eat a slice of pizza when the doorbell rings. When she opens it, an envelope is on her doormat that contains the vinyl single A Single Life . Pia plays the song on her record player and by chance discovers that spinning the record affects her life story, so suddenly her pizza slice is almost finished after a record jump. Pia moves the record needle and suddenly sees herself catapulted a few years into the future. She's pregnant, another record fastener, and she's holding a crying baby. Other gimmicks with the record needle make her a toddler and later a woman in a wheelchair. Here the record has a crack and prevents Pia from reaching the turntable several times. Another push of the plate needle shows Pia in old age. While she is still walking to the record player with her walking aid, the song ends and instead of Pia there is suddenly an urn in the room.

production
