Abdel Rahman Azzam

Abdel Rahman Azzam ( Arabic عبد الرحمن عزام, DMG ʿAbd ar-Raḥmān ʿAzzām ; also: Abd-al-Rahman Azzam , Azzam Pasha ; * 1893 in Schaubak near Cairo ; † June 2, 1976 in Cairo) was an Egyptian politician and diplomat . Azzam was the first general secretary of the Arab League from 1945 to 1952 .
