Adam Joachim Sander

Adam Joachim Sander (* around 1720 in Stettin ; † 1769 ) was a German local lawyer. He was Lord Mayor of Stettin from 1751 until his death .

His father was a lawyer in Stettin, his brother Johann Heinrich Sander (* around 1722) also became a lawyer.

Adam Joachim Sander studied law from 1735 , first at the University of Göttingen and then from 1736 at the University of Halle . In 1739 he became a lawyer ("Advokat") in the Pomeranian government in Stettin and received the title of court counselor .

In 1741 he became a senator for the city of Szczecin. In 1751, as the successor to Carl Ludwig Huebner , he became the municipal district administrator and mayor of Stettin. He remained in office until his death in 1769. His successor was Johann David Blindow .
