A monkey house is a building erected in zoological gardens , in which monkeys can be kept in a species-appropriate way - that is, adapted to their natural environment - and safely. On the other hand, monkey houses are designed in such a way that visitors to the facilities can have the best possible opportunity to observe the animals. With their integrated cages, monkey houses offer the possibility of offspring , observation and research .
