Al Leong (* the 30th September 1952 as Albert Leong ) is an American stuntman and actor of Asian descent. Leong is best known for playing the role of the Asian villain in action films , who is usually killed. He starred in well-known films such as Lethal Weapon , Die Hard , Berett , Big Trouble in Little China and The Scorpion King . As a stuntman, he has worked in films such as In Search of the Golden Child , Godzilla , Showdown in Little Tokyo and Beverly Hills Cop III .

Leong also had appearances in well-known series such as Knight Rider , Magnum , TJ Hooker , MacGyver , The Wild Seventies , The A-Team , 24 and Deadwood .
