Albert Voss (born September 8, 1951 in Ihlowerfehn ) is a former German football goalkeeper .

Career

Voss moved from Kickers Emden to VfB Oldenburg in 1972 . He played with Oldenburg from 1972 to 1974 in the second -rate regional soccer league North and completed 70 regional league games for the team from the Donnerschwee stadium . In the last year of the old regional league as a Bundesliga substructure, 1973/74, the goalkeeper finished sixth in the north with VfB. In the 1974-75 season, he played in all 34 games in the Amateur Oberliga Nord and won with his team before SV Arminia Hannover the championship . In the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga, Oldenburg failed against SC Westfalia Herne and Spandauer SV. Voss was used in all four games.

He then moved to the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen . At Bremen he was a substitute behind Dieter Burdenski . In the first five years at Bremen Burdenski was a constant in the Bremen game. Voss only had to represent him in one game: in the 1977/78 season on matchday 16 in the 1: 2 defeat against 1. FC Kaiserslautern . After the Bremen relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga , he came on more time. In the northern season he played eight games and thus contributed a lot to the immediate resurgence. After reaching first place in the 2nd Bundesliga, he moved to his old club VfB Oldenburg for a year, where he ended his career.
