Albie Donnelly
Albie Donnelly (born August 12, 1947 in Liverpool , Great Britain ) is a British saxophonist , band leader and lead singer of the group Supercharge, which was founded in 1973 . He was also a studio musician a. a. for Bob Geldof and The Boomtown Rats . Since 1992 he has released a variety of CDs. In addition to his engagement as “Mister Supercharge”, he is on tour with his project “The Big Thing” with the participation of Roy Herrington (guitar and vocals), Wolfgang Diekmann (bass and guitar) and Hardy Fischötter (drums). Albie Donnelly has been based in Heiligenhaus in Lower Berg since the mid-1990s .
