Albrecht Schlageter

Albrecht Rudolf Schlageter (born April 7, 1927 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † June 6, 1999 in Lörrach ) was a German homeland and mining researcher and director of studies at the Hans-Thoma-Gymnasium Lörrach .

Life and work

Albrecht Schlageter did his doctorate after studying German at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau in June 1953 with the subject of investigations into the song-like relationships in Nachwalther's poetry .

Schlageter dealt intensively with the glassworks and mining in general in the southern Black Forest . In 1994, on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the Utzenfeld community, an extensive local chronicle was published, on which Schlageter took the lead. His extensive scientific legacy consisting of 65 files , some handwritten, some machine-written manuscripts, printed matter, reproductions, pictures, illustrations and maps was given to the Freiburg City Archives as a deposit in April 2001 by his widow .

Schlageter was a full-time teacher of German and history at the Lörracher Hans-Thoma-Gymnasium. He spoke fluent Italian and was involved in the German-Italian student exchange with a partner school in Piacenza .

Albrecht Schlageter was married and their son is an aerospace engineer.
