Alexander Langlitz (born February 15, 1991 in Olgino, Kazakhstan ) is a German football player .

Career

Langlitz had started playing soccer at BSV Ostbevern before moving to the youth department of FC Schalke 04 in 2009 via SG Telgte and Preußen Münster . From the 2010/11 season Langlitz belonged to the squad of the second team playing in the Regionalliga West .

Langlitz made his debut in professional football on December 14, 2011 in the Europa League match at Maccabi Haifa . Shortly after being substituted on, he made a template in stoppage time, which Andreas Wiegel used to make it 3-0.

For the 2013/14 season he moved to Rot-Weiss Essen . He played 27 championship games in the Regionalliga West that season and scored two goals. In 2014 he moved to Sportfreunde Lotte , with whom he won the Westphalia Cup for the first time  in 2015 , was champion in the Regionalliga West in 2016 and then moved up to the 3rd division .

In the 2016/2017 season, Langlitz caused a sensation with the sports fans in the DFB Cup . They eliminated Werder Bremen (2: 1), Bayer Leverkusen (6: 5 n.E.) and 1860 Munich (2: 0) on their way to the quarter-finals. It was only against Borussia Dortmund that they were eliminated from the competition (0: 3).
