Alexei Ivanovich Kuznetsov (born August 15, 1929 in Vashuricha , † March 28, 2003 ) was a Soviet cross-country skier .

Career

Kuznetsov appeared internationally for the first time at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1954 in Falun . There he won the silver medal with the relay. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he won the bronze medal with the relay. He also achieved 15th place over 50 km and eighth place over 30 km. Two years later he won the bronze medal with the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane . At Soviet championships he won over 50 km in 1960 and over 15 km in 1961.
