Alfred Hackensberger

Alfred Hackensberger (* 1959 ) is a German journalist and author of non-fiction and literary works.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1979, Hackensberger studied German, political science and sociology at the LMU Munich , completing a master's degree .

Hackensberger worked as a freelance writer for a long time. He has written TV reports for ZDF, ARD, Premiere TV and radio features for NDR , BR and WDR . His print articles appeared in Süddeutsche Zeitung , Zeit-Magazin , Berliner Zeitung , Frankfurter Rundschau , Taz , Das Parlament , Vogue , Die Woche , Wiener and on Telepolis . Hackensberger wrote the screenplay for the documentary Tanger - Legende einer Stadt , published in 1998 .

Since 2012 he has been employed by Welt as a correspondent for North Africa and Arab countries. He also writes essays a. a. for the course book and the string magazine.

Hackensberger lives in Morocco.
