Alfred Klink

Alfred Klink (born September 6, 1952 in Calw ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training in Lauterbad , Klink went to the Parkhotel in Karlsruhe in 1970 . From 1971 he went to Switzerland for six years: first to the Kulm Hotel in St. Moritz , 1972 to La Palma at Lac Locarno , 1974 to the Baur au Lac in Zurich and 1975 to the Hotel Atlantis also in Zurich. In 1978 he then moved to the Erbprinz hotel and restaurant in Ettlingen .

In 1981 he became head chef at the luxury hotel Colombi Hotel in Freiburg im Breisgau , where he has been awarded a Michelin star every year since 1982 for the Zirbelstube . The Schlemmer Atlas has given him the top mark of 5 cooking spoons since 1997, making him one of the “Top Chefs of the Year”.

In the summer of 2014, after 33 years, he handed over the post of head chef to Christoph Fischer, but was still available for advice.
