The Trier District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is one of the eight local courts in the district of the Trier Regional Court .

Court seat

The seat of the court is at Justizstrasse 2, 4, 6 in Trier . The district court is housed together with the Trier regional court.

Jurisdiction

The Trier district court is responsible for all matters that can be brought before a district court except for cooperative registers, shipping registers, commercial registers, association registers, partnership registers and civil registry matters .

Special jurisdiction

The Trier District Court is responsible for agricultural, foreclosure, administrative and insolvency matters in the districts of the Hermeskeil and Saarburg district courts.

Superior courts

The Trier District Court is superordinate to the Trier District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court Koblenz . The detention court is also responsible for civil status matters in the district of the Trier Regional Court.
