Anatoly Ivanovich Scheljuchin ( Russian Анатолий Иванович Шелюхин ; born  April 6, 1930 in Kostroma , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ; †  October 21, 1995 in Kostroma, Russia ) was a Russian cross-country skier who started for the Soviet Union.

life and career

At the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo , Scheljuchin came fourth in the 30 km run behind - just one second faster - Pawel Kolchin and fifth in the 50 km run.

At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , Scheljuchin took third place with the Soviet team in the 4x10 km relay.

At the World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 , Scheljuchin took second place with the 4x10 km relay and won bronze in the 15 km run. In 1959, he finished second over 15 km at the Lahti Ski Games .

Scheljuchin was four times Soviet champion, once in the 30 km run (1958) and three times in the 50 km run (1955, 1958 and 1959).
