Andrea Consigli (born January 27, 1987 in Milan ) is an Italian football player who acts in the position of goalkeeper and is currently under contract with US Sassuolo Calcio .

Career

society

Consigli started his career at the age of eleven in the youth department of Atalanta Bergamo and went through every youth team.

In 2005 he was promoted to the professional squad, but continued to play in the youth. In the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons he was awarded to US Sambenedettese and AC Rimini in 1912 and completed 32 and 35 games respectively.

Since returning to the 2008/09 season , Consigli has been an integral part of the team and an undisputed regular goalkeeper. He is now also the vice-captain of his team.

National team

Consigli went through every U national team of the Italians and was part of the team that narrowly failed against Germany in the semifinals of the U21 European Championship 2009 . He was also part of the Italian Olympic team in Beijing in 2008 , where they were defeated by the Belgians in the quarter-finals of the tournament .

He received his first call-up for the Italian national team in 2012, where he was in the squad for the friendly international match against England on August 15, but was not used there.
