Andreas Doms

Andreas Doms (born September 19, 1955 in Xanten ; † July 7, 2014 in Baden-Baden ) was a German radio journalist and presenter.

Life

Doms has worked for Südwestfunk since 1982 and, with his sonorous baritone voice, was one of its most famous radio speakers. Among other things, he regularly moderated the program Der Abend on SWR1 . The series Das Trüffelschwein , which he designed, was also broadcast on SWR1 , in which he presented culinary recipes. In 2004 an accompanying book of the same title was published. For SWF3 he developed the radio comedy Chibulsky , in which he portrayed Werner Chibulsky, a proletarian from the Ruhr. A collection of episodes was released in 1994 under the title Chibulsky - full up twelve! as a book.

Doms last lived in Gernsbach - Staufenberg . He died at the age of 58 after a brief, serious illness.
