Andreas Gliese

Andreas Gliese (* 1968 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Brandenburg state parliament between 2014 and 2019 .

biography

After attending the polytechnic high school, Andreas Gliese first completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator and worked in his profession. He made up his Abitur in 1989 and then did military service and community service. From 1991 to 1997 he studied veterinary medicine at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Free University of Berlin , graduating as a veterinarian in 1997. Since then he has worked on a farm that was re-established after German reunification .

politics

Gliese has been a member of the CDU since 2005. Since 2008 he has been chairman of his party in the city council of Friedland (Niederlausitz) . He has held a mandate in the district council of the Oder-Spree district since 2008 and in the state parliament of Brandenburg between 2014 and 2019. There he won the direct mandate in the Landtag constituency Oder-Spree II .
