Angelika Dörfler-Dierken

Angelika Dörfler-Dierken (* 1955 in Hofgeismar ) is a German church historian .

Life

Dörfler-Dierken studied Protestant theology and human and social sciences from 1977 to 1985 at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. In 1985 she passed her first theological exam in Kurhessen-Waldeck.

She then worked as a research assistant to Adolf Martin Ritter (Church History) at the Theological Faculty of Heidelberg University. In 1990, she was in church history with the dissertation The veneration of St.. Anna in the late Middle Ages and early modern period to the Dr. theol. PhD. 1998 habilitation they are also in church history, with the work Lutheranism and democracy . She was u. a. funded by the Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst . Research stays took her to Chicago and Kyoto.

From 1987 she was a lecturer and substitute professor in Heidelberg, Bremen, Oldenburg and Hamburg. From 2002 to 2003 she was a church school councilor of the Evangelical Church in Berlin-Brandenburg . From 2003 to 2012 she was project manager (various) at the Social Science Institute of the Bundeswehr in Strausberg. From 2005 to 2012 she was also an adjunct professor at the Theological Faculty of Heidelberg University. In 2008 she helped design the peacebuilding / peace education courses at the University of Hamburg . In 2011 she took part in the seminar for security policy at the Federal Academy for Security Policy . In 2012 she became a professor at the Department of Protestant Theology at the University of Hamburg and in 2013 she became a project manager for internal leadership , ethics and military chaplaincy at the Center for Military History and Social Sciences of the Bundeswehr in Potsdam.
