Angelo Longoni

Angelo Longoni (* 1956 in Milan ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .

Life

Longoni graduated from the “Scuola d'Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi” in his native city and then devoted himself to acting as well as theater and television directing (titles included Necronimicon , L'età dell'oro and Atelier ). The Brivido italiano format was created for radio. His stage production of Naja , which was later realized as a film and opened the door to cinema films for Longini (he had started on a modest budget in 1993 with the experimental Caccia alle mosche based on his own novel ) , had great success . Facciamo fiesta from 1998 was a successful one in Cubabased comedy with Alessandro Gassmann and Gianmarco Tognazzi . Longoni also worked for the stage; also with Gassman and Tognazzi were Uomini senza donne and Testimoni listed next to it, he was responsible Money , line Hot and Bruciati .

Longoni has been making his films almost exclusively for television since 1999. After numerous awards for his theatrical work, his Caravaggio won the 2007 international television award "Golden Chest" in Plovdiv .
