Anna-Lena Grüne (born October 30, 2001 in Hildesheim ) is a German beach volleyball player .

Career

In 2016, Grüne finished fifth in the German U18 championship with Paula Klemperer. In 2017 she formed a duo with Lea Sophie Kunst . Green / Art were runner-up in the U17 and U18. In 2018 they took part in the qualification for the Techniker Beach Tour in Nuremberg . At the U19 World Cup in Nanjing they came in ninth place. Then they became German U18 champions. With Greta Klein-Hitpaß , Green also reached the final of the U19 tournament. The coach from 2015 to 2019 was Stefan Drews , who won several national titles with the squad of the Northwest German Volleyball Association. In 2019, Green mainly played with Nele Schmitt and Chenoa Christ . On the Techniker Beach Tour 2019, Grüne / Schmitt came ninth in Nuremberg and 13th in Dresden .

In 2020, Green was used as a substitute for the Beach League . She played the second week of the tournament with Isabel Schneider and also competed in the Final Four, where she finished fourth after two defeats. She competed in the first qualifying tournament of the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 with Julika Hoffmann . At the second tournament she played with Olympic champion Kira Walkenhorst and qualified for the German championship .
