Anne Helin (born January 28, 1987 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish ice hockey player who was most recently under contract with Kärpät Oulu in Naisten SM-sarja .

Career

Anne Helin started her career with Karhu-Kissat in her hometown. In addition to ice hockey, she also played soccer and bandy in the junior division . She made her debut for Karhu-Kissat at the age of 12 in Finland's top ice hockey division, the Naisten SM-sarja . She later moved to Itä-Helsingin Kiekko (IHK Helsinki) within Helsinki .

From 2007 she played for Kärpät Oulu in the SM-sarja and was elected to the league's all-star team in 2008 and 2009 . In 2011 she was named the best player of the season and was often among the top scorers in the league. In 2013 she ended her career.

International

Anne Helin was part of the Finnish national team from 2008 and won the bronze medal with them at the 2008 , 2009 and 2011 World Cups . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she also won the bronze medal.
