Antifibrinolytic
Antifibrinolytic agents act by inhibition of fibrinolysis in the blood, d. that is, they cause a reduced breakdown of the thrombus and thus an increased coagulation .
They are therefore used in cases of increased fibrinolysis , excessive fibrinolytic therapy and complications during childbirth.
