Johannes Anton Peter Rummel , from 1828 von Rummel (born February 22, 1771 in Ellingen , † January 12, 1863 in Mergentheim ), was a Württemberg government president and member of the state parliament .

Life

Johannes Anton Peter Rummel was born in Ellingen in what is now the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in 1771 as the son of the Oberhof hunter and chief forester Peter Rummel. After attending grammar school, he studied law in Würzburg . From 1795 to 1805 he was the judicial and camera administrator of the German Order Coming Horneck . In 1805 he joined the Württemberg service as a cameraman and judicial officer. In 1807 and 1808 he was senior bailiff at the Wiesensteig District Office and from 1808 to 1810 Senior State Economics Council in Stuttgart . From 1810 to 1817 he headed the Oberamt Öhringen as senior magistrate . In 1817 he became a councilor in the government of the Danube district in Ulm , which he held until 1835. After that, he took over as president with the official title of government director, leading the government of the Black Forest district in Reutlingen . In 1844 he retired. He died in Mergentheim in 1863.

politics

In 1826, Rummel in the Saulgau constituency was first elected to the Württemberg state parliament. From 1833 to 1838 he represented the constituency of Leutkirch and from 1838 to 1848 the constituency of Horb . In 1848 he resigned from the mandate. Anton Peter von Rummel was from 1835 to 1847 Vice-President or Age President of the Second Chamber of the State Parliament.

Honors

In 1828 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown . This was associated with the Württemberg personal nobility ( ennoblement ). In 1835 he received the commentary cross of the Order of the Württemberg Crown.
