Antonino Raspanti (born June 20, 1959 in Alcamo ) is Bishop of Acireale .

Life

Antonino Raspanti was ordained deacon for the diocese of Trapani on March 6, 1982, and the Bishop of Trapani, Emanuele Romano , ordained him on September 7, 1982 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on July 26, 2011 Bishop of Acireale. The Archbishop of Palermo , Paolo Cardinal Romeo , donated him episcopal ordination on October 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Pio Vittorio Vigo , Old Archbishop ad personam of Acireale, and Francesco Miccichè , Bishop of Trapani. As a motto he chose Humilitas ac dulcedo .

On November 11, 2019, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Pontifical Council for Culture .
