Arbonne-la-Forêt is a commune with 995 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Fontainebleau and the canton of Fontainebleau (until 2015: canton of Perthes ). The inhabitants are called Arbonnais .

geography

Arbonne-la-Forêt is located about 52 kilometers south-southeast of Paris and about ten kilometers west-northwest of Fontainebleau . Arbonne-la-Forêt is surrounded by Fleury-en-Bière in the north and north-west, Saint-Martin-en-Bière in the north, Fontainebleau in the east, Saint-Germain-sur-École and Soisy-sur-École in the north-west.
