Archibios (follower of Cleopatra)
Archibios was a in the 1st century BC. Living follower of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra .
Archibios was a wealthy Alexandrian known only from a brief note from the ancient biographer Plutarch . According to this author, Archibios is said to have died after Cleopatra's suicide in August 30 BC. BC paid the enormous sum of 2,000 talents to the victorious Octavian so that he would leave the statues of the Queen intact while those of Mark Antony were overturned.
