Ariel Jakubowski (born September 7, 1977 in Człuchów , Poland) is a former Polish football player and today's coach .
Career
society
Jakubowski began his career as a football player in 1995 with Polonia Gdańsk , which merged with Lechia Gdańsk in 1998 . From 1995 to 1997 he came to some assignments in amateur football before he transferred to Łódź to the Łódzki KS playing there . It was there that Jakubowski achieved his first major success when he and the team celebrated winning the Polish championship title for the first and so far only time in the club's history in 1998 .
After a total of 67 completed games, he left the club in 2000 and moved to the Silesian capital Katowice to GKS Katowice . Before leaving in 2001, he played 27 competitive games for the club. His next stop was Odra Wodzisław from the Polish city of Wodzisław Śląski . From 2001 to 2002 he came to 27 missions for the club. He also scored in the 2001/02 season, which he spent at Odra Wodzisław, the only goal so far in his career.
Another change followed in 2002. This time it went to the Vistula , more precisely to Płock to the football club Wisła Płock located there . For the club Jakubowski came from 2002 to 2004 to 39 championship appearances before he moved back to the club. From the 2004/05 season he was under contract with Lech Poznan , for which he completed 16 games by the end of the season and then preferred to change clubs again.
From 2005 Jakubowski Jagiellonia Białystok was allowed to name his club. For the football club from the north-eastern Polish city of Białystok , he ran fourteen times on the pitch before he left in 2006. During the summer break of the 2006/07 season, his move followed when he was signed by the Polish record champions Ruch Chorzów . There he stayed for four and a half years before he moved to the second division to Wisła Płock , as he had lost his regular place at Ruch Chorzów due to his advanced age. But just a year later he ended his career there.
National team
Jakubowski also made the acquaintance of the national team from Poland , for whom he came on June 19, 1999 in a game against New Zealand for a brief assignment. The score after regular time and after 30 minutes of extra time was 0: 0. The Poles were able to win the game 5-4 on penalties in the end.
Trainer
After initially acting as a coach in the lower class area, he took over the second division Wigry Suwałki on November 11, 2018 . However, he was released almost five months later after only two wins from ten league games and the Cup.
