history
The company was founded in 1937 to build the Galzigbahn - the first cable car in the Arlberg - as Bergbahn AG . The company is based in Innsbruck and the management is in St. Anton am Arlberg.
Between 1953 and 1960 four ski lifts were built in St. Christoph and from Feldherrnhügel on Galzig. In 1962, the railway license for the Gampbergbahn (cable car from St. Anton a. A. to the Gampberg) was awarded.
Ski Arlberg
In the Ski Arlberg network, 88 cable cars and lifts with 305 km of ski runs and 200 km of deep snow runs are offered in a tariff network in the 2017/2018 season. The self-service restaurants Gampen, Kapall, Galzig, Valluga and Rendl belong to the Arlberger Bergbahnen AG company.
