Arthur Thomas Malkin

Arthur Thomas Malkin (* 1803 in Hackney , London , † 1888 in Corrybrough , Inverness , Scotland ) was an English mountaineering pioneer and writer.

The historians Benjamin Heath Malkin and Frederic Malkin were his brothers. In August 1840, Malkin was the first to climb the Hockenhorn in the Lötschental in the Bernese Alps . Arthur Thomas Malkin died in Corrybrough, Scotland in 1888 at the age of 85.
