Aryloxy group

In organic chemistry, an aryloxy group is a functional group in which an aryl radical (e.g. phenyl radical, 1-naphthyl radical, 2-naphthyl radical, etc.) is bound to a molecule via an oxygen atom. For example, in the case of a phenoxy radical, a phenyl is connected to the radical via an oxygen atom (RO-Ph).
