Aske Bang

Aske Bang (born April 1, 1988 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish film actor and director .

Career

Aske Bang's career in film began as an actor in 2008 when he played the role of the waiter in the Danish feature film Little Soldier . After further roles he changed sides in 2011 and from then on also worked behind the camera as a director. He also wrote the scripts for the short films Ladyboy , The Stranger and Silent Nights .

In 2015 he completed his directorial training at Den Danske Filmskole . He achieved great fame with the short film Silent Nights , as he and Kim Magnusson received an Oscar nomination at the 2017 Academy Awards in the Best Short Film category.
