Atlantis is the 14th studio album by German Schlager singer Andrea Berg . It was published in Germany , Austria and Switzerland in September 2013 and reached number one in the charts in all three countries.
Emergence
Unlike their previous albums , Atlantis was not only produced by Dieter Bohlen , even if many songs were composed by him. Further compositions are by David Brandes , DJ Bobo , Achim Kleist , Patrizia Kleist, Julia von Webenau, Wolfgang von Webenau and Stefan Pössnicker . According to the artist, the Atlantis theme was chosen as a follow-up to her previous album, Adventure (2011), which used metaphors about marine adventures and pirates . She also connects the island with the idea of freedom.
Cover
The pictures used for the album's booklet were taken by the English underwater photographer Zena Holloway, who has also worked with many other personalities such as Katie Price , the singers Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora or the swimmer Jessica Hardy . Berg trained for four weeks to hold his breath long enough for the photo shoot.
