The Audi Type C , also known as 14/35 PS was a car of the middle class , which the Audi car factories in Zwickau GmbH in addition to the smaller 1912 Type B brought out.
The vehicle had a front mounted four-cylinder - IOE -Zweiblock- line engine with 3.6 liter displacement. It developed 35 hp at 1700 rpm. It drove the rear wheels via a four-speed countershaft transmission and a cardan shaft . The car had a ladder frame and two leaf-sprung rigid axles . It was built as a four-seater touring car.
Examples with 40 HP engine power achieved good successes in the Austrian alpine races from 1912 to 1914. This is why the model was also called "Alpine Winner" in advertising. In 1921 production stopped after 1,450 cars.
