Sense of proportion

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A sense of proportion is the ability to quantitatively estimate the target amount of a measured variable by looking at the object or process.

In a figurative sense, discretionary decisions are referred to as a sense of proportion when it comes to observing proportionality (“proving a sense of proportion”).
