The compensation funds are part of the Swiss social security system for old age and survivors' insurance and disability insurance (AHV / IV).

The 78 coffers spread across Switzerland are funded by associations , cantons and the federal government.
Your tasks are:
- Contact person for the insured
- collect the contributions from employers and insured persons
- pay the pensions
The other areas of the AHV are organized centrally. The Federal Social Insurance Office ensures uniform application of the statutory provisions and the Central Compensation Office manages the overall accounts of the AHV and assigns the insurance numbers .
