action

The student Angie is hired by Jim and Violet Stanton to look after their son Sam. Her car breaks down on the way to the Stanton Farm. So Angie asks her new college friend Rick to drive her to the Stantons' estate. When she finally arrives, Jim and Violet give her final instructions. During the night, she receives several strange calls and hears noises. Startled, Angie calls Rick and the police. The police chief reassures Angie and assures her that he will stop by later.

During the night a severely scarred priest comes and attacks her. Angie knocked him unconscious with a golf club. She notices that Sam has horns on his head. When Jim and Violet come home, they discover the priest. Jim kills the priest and beats up Angie. In the basement he ties Angie and an unconscious girl. Jim reveals that Sam is the son of the devil and eats woman's flesh. Jim cuts out all sorts of parts of the unconscious body and prepares to do the same to Angie. When the alerted police officer arrives, Jim assures him that Angie is already on her way home, whereupon he leaves again. Meanwhile, Angie frees herself, but is captured. The policeman returns and disarms Jim, but Violet knocks him down from behind with an ax. Meanwhile, Angie can grab the gun and shoots Jim and then Violet. When Angie and the seriously injured policeman want to return to the car, Sam appears and slits the policeman's throat. Angie gets out of the car and runs away from Sam. In a barn Sam gets caught on a chain and can be overwhelmed and killed by Angie. She drives away and wakes up in the hospital. Another police officer informs them that Sam has not been found. The last scene shows Sam with his adoptive mother, who is again pinning a babysitter ad on the notice board.
