The Verviers Central Station is a station of the SNCB (SNCB / NMBS) in the Belgian town of Verviers in eastern region Wallonia . It is centrally located in the Wallonia conurbation of Verviers between Liège and the German border.

Verviers Central station is designed as an Art Nouveau equestrian station . The tracks are led through a 388 meter long tunnel ( Tunnel Chic Chac ) under the station building. The station was built from 1929 to 1930 and replaced the previous Verviers-Léopold / Verviers-Ouest terminus .
Verviers Central is a stopping point for InterCity and regional trains such as euregioAIXpress . Also, since September 3, 2018, the S41 of the Liège S-Bahn .
In addition to the Central station, there is also the Verviers-Palais station.
The station has been rebuilt since 2013 so that the tunnel can also be used by double-decker trains in the future.
