Baiyun
Baiyun ( Chinese 白云 区 , Pinyin Báiyún Qū ) is a municipality in the city of Guangzhou in the Chinese province of Guangdong . It is located in the north of Guangzhou and borders the Huadu district . The name of Baiyun was given to the municipality from the mountain of the same name, Baiyun (白云 山).
At the moment, no information is available on the area and population of Baiyun, as an administrative reform on April 28, 2005 resulted in larger parts of Baiyun being given to the Yuexiu and Luogang districts. Before that, Baiyun had an area of 825 km² and approx. 870,000 inhabitants (2001).
The road in Baiyuns quarter Sanyuanli preferred place of, British Bezwinger' Corps in Sanyuanli (三元里平英团遗址, Sanyuanli pingyingtuan Yizhi) is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .

Infrastructure
Baiyun is the location of Guangzhou International Airport .
An expressway runs through the city district and connects the airport with the city center.
