Barbara Krafftówna (born December 5, 1928 in Warsaw ) is a Polish actress .

Barbara Krafftówna studied acting in Krakow . She made her theatrical debut in 1946 at the Teatr Wybrzeże in Gdansk . In 1949 she went to the theater in Łódź . After working in Wroclaw and Warsaw, she joined the ensemble of the Polish National Theater in Warsaw in 1964 . After the director Kazimierz Dejmek was dismissed , she also left the National Theater in 1969 and only played sporadically as a freelance actress on various Polish stages. In 1982 she left the country for the United States . She only returned to Poland in 1998 and has since returned to theater, film and television.

She began her film career in 1953. She starred in 1958 in Asche und Diamant by Andrzej Wajda and in 1962 in The Art of Being Loved by Wojciech Has . In the 1960s she took on the role of Honorata in the popular television series Four Tank Soldiers and a Dog . She also appeared on the television show The Older Gentlemen's Cabaret .
