Basaa languages
The Basaa languages are a language group within Guthrie Zone A of the Bantu languages . It is classified as Zone A40 and contains four individual languages that are spoken by around 300,000 people in Cameroon .
The individual languages are:
- Bakoko , around 50,000 speakers
- Bankon , around 12,000 speakers
- Barombi , around 3,000 speakers
- Bassa , around 230,000 speakers
