Beate Abraham (* 1945 ) is a German actress . In 1976 she was first seen in films and then had numerous roles in films, television plays and TV series. In Stratmanns ( WDR television ) she was seen as mother Schagalla from 2001 to 2016 .

Life

She was born in East Prussia, first grew up in Mecklenburg and attended an advanced high school in Recklinghausen . She received her acting training at the drama school in Hamburg. After various professional positions, including in Cuxhaven, Schleswig and at the Ohnsorg Theater in Hamburg, she had an engagement at the Dortmund Theater . Among other things, she performed at the Ruhr Festival . She has lived in Dortmund since 1972 and has two daughters.
