Beg Ferati (born November 10, 1986 in Pristina ) is a Swiss football player of Kosovar origin. The central defender of FC Sion has been loaned out to FC Biel-Bienne since August 11, 2015 .
Career
societies
At the age of 19, Beg Ferati joined the U-23 team of FC Basel through the youth clubs FC Pratteln and FC Concordia Basel. After one season he moved to the second division club FC Concordia Basel , which he left after two seasons. From 2008 to 2011 he was active for the first division club FC Basel and won the championship three times, the Swiss Cup twice and the watch cup once .
Ferati, the good positioning and overview is attested, joined the season 2011/12 the German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg , he for the 16 September 2011 (6th Round) in the 1: 2 defeat in the home match against VfB Stuttgart have Bundesliga debut. National team
From 2006 to 2008 Ferati completed 12 games for the U-21 national team . He scored his only international goal on November 15, 2006 in Koper with the goal to make it 4-1 over the selection of Slovenia in the 60th minute.
Ferati, who was nominated for the Swiss national team by coach Ottmar Hitzfeld on August 4, 2011, made his debut four days later when he came on as a substitute for Johan Djourou in the 63rd minute in a 2-1 win against Liechtenstein in Vaduz .
