Belle da Costa Greene (born December 13, 1883 in Alexandria (Virginia) , † May 10, 1950 in New York City ) was an American librarian of the banker and collector John Pierpont Morgan and after his death the first director of the Pierpont Morgan Library until her retirement in 1948.
