The Berghäus'l is located on Am Goldenen Wagen 16 in the Oberlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul . The country house was built in 1912 for Sophie Westphal and Helene Koch by the architect Richard Gebler (1863–1926) from Dresden- Trachau , about a year before he designed the country house in Hoflößnitzstraße 64 for Oskar Petersohn.

The single-storey wooden house stands at the gable above a quarry stone wall that supports the terrain towards the street with a passage for the entrance. It was built on a quarry stone plinth made of syenite, which is typical of the area . The ground floor is boarded up horizontally, while the kinked gable rising above the street is boarded up vertically. The high roof is covered with tiles .
